Richard Rizika, Partner & Co-Founder of Beta Agency, was recently quoted in the Los Angeles Business Journal about the impact of the retail trade area surrounding Google's recently announced 580K SF lease at Westside Pavilion. Richard Rizika of Beta Agency said it’s not just the redevelopment but retail in the area surrounding One Westside that will see an impact from the project. “You are going to see a lot of pressure on retail rates around it,” he said. Beta Agency currently leases Linea, a mixed-use development that is located blocks away from Westside Pavilion and is looking forward to the development of this area.

Xan Saks talks to LA Downtown News on the effects of Apple locating to Broadway

Xan Saks, Partner & Co-Founder of Beta, was mentioned in LA Downtown News on the effects of Apple locating to Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. Xan says "In Downtown and Broadway specifically, this is really going to change the dynamic,”. He goes on to say “You can look at The Bloc as one relevant retail spot, FIGat7th as another. The Arts District is an emerging player, but Broadway gets a distinct advantage with this.” Apple is currently undergoing a transformation of their retail stores where they are becoming town squares which will make this new location a truly unique experience.
