Alex Kogan
Alex Kogan specializes in representing regional and national brands in the acquisition of both leased and owned real estate throughout Southern California. He has developed deep expertise in new-store development strategy through his work leading regional rollouts for ALDI, Dutch Bros Coffee, Super Star Car Wash, Visionworks, LA Fitness’s newest club format, Club Studio, and other category-defining brands. Alex supports clients by helping them expand with precision into high-barrier markets.
Alex is a lifelong Southern California resident and an expert in the region’s retail landscape. He has executed and advised on a variety of high-impact transactions, including Super Star Car Wash’s acquisitions of Zipline Express Car Wash in Fontana and Blue Oasis Car Wash in Perris, a family office’s $9.2 million acquisition of a freestanding Class A office space in El Segundo, and Club Studio/LA Fitness’s flagship leases in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and Westlake Village. His work with institutional owners and developers such as Regency Centers, The Irvine Company, Paragon, and Brixmor to name a few has further refined his ability to navigate complex negotiations and align operator needs with sophisticated ownership groups.
Alex is known as a relentless site sourcing engine: a combination of grit, structured follow-up, disciplined organization, and persistent market reconnaissance.
